Slaves pretending to be independent

Another thing I’ve been much deceived by, Ed, is people presenting themselves as independent. Like, “I do what I want.”
We think they’re a unique and authentic person because of that.
But in reality, Ed, a lot of people who are slaves of the thug factions, particularly, will do radical things like maybe piercings and tattoos or alligator pet or something; to throw that image. For one, it’s attractive and two, it is compensation for the fact they’re a slave.
An independent mind very rarely bothers about displays of how independent and unique they are. They just do their thing.
And you can see, Ed, when someone is faking an independent mind, in how they talk.
A huge clue, Ed, is in how they make their point, they’ll keep referring to you. That’s either a trained slave or a trained thug world deceiver who’ll keep saying, “As you said….” “As you say….” “Just like what you went through….”
They’re not holding their point with their experience. They’re actually using your own words and experience to bypass your judgment.
