Ritual doers see how willing you’re to playing with them, how willing you are to abase yourself as a precursor to abuse. Because if you play in with something that’s an insult to your intelligence, you’ll play in with a lie or falsehood, and by then when they abuse you, you’ll feel like you asked for it.
