Message from Matty, the Goat

This is about Matty the goat, Ed, who I told you about in my book “I Shall Not Die” .

I don’t know how or why, from the moment Granddad told me about him, I fell in love with him so bad. How can the mention of someone’s pet goat from two hundred years ago, seize someone’s heart that their eyes fill with tears at the mention of them, I don’t know.

But then we never do know why we love certain people, do we? We just know when we see them, that we love them, that they are a piece of our heart, our destiny and we will love them forever.

I thank God, Ed, in these days of such deceptions, for those loves which we don’t suspect of trying to play with our feelings. 😭

Anyway, here is my drawing of Matty the goat. I did put it in the end of my book, but I wanted to put his face here too.

You know, Ed, it is never an accident when an animal spirit shows up in your consciousness in any way at all. Never.

And goats, Ed, showing up when the Sun is in Capricorn… That’s something big in the consciousness.

You know, Ed, every time a goat shows up, a real goat spirit like Matty, it means a RADICAL ESCAPE FROM A SITUATION YOU THINK YOU CAN NEVER ESCAPE FROM.

I’ll tell you how I know this. Because my dad’s tribe, Ed, up in the mountains, they have wild goats there. I was fed by one in my babyhood when my mother passed away. They always say that if a goat stays with you it’s because the goat wants to. Because if a goat decides to escape, it WILL.

The dudes climb up ANYTHING, Ed. You must have seen the internet memes. They also squeeze through anything, crawl etc.

Spiritually, Ed, the goat spirit does not give a f”** for fear. If he or she wants to go somewhere, Ed, he it she will. Period.

In the life of Myrddin McNamara, Ed, his life had come to a standstill. It was a dead end situation. He was out of all options. But he opened the Bible and saw that verse in the Psalms.

“I shall not die, but live…”

And as he was wondering for what he should live, a little goat was squeezing in his front gate. A little helpless goat who had been marked for slaughter but run away.

He was Matty, Ed. To feed him Myrddin lived from day to day. He turned Myrddin’s life around because he made his life energy start flowing towards life again, instead of towards leaving this life.

Matty comes as a message that your life WILL turn around. Happiness you cannot dream of or see from where you are now, is going to happen, just like it did for Myrddin. Just hang in there.
