Shilajit and the most expensive coffee are both what?

Ed, in case you didn’t know, here’s what Wikipedia says, about Shilajit, arguably one of the most potent immediate energy boosters, vitality enhancers available today.

When I first began my trips into the mountains, Ed, in my search for Jatamansi ( Spikenard), I ended up having conversations with the people that brought the mountain herbs and such to the weekly markets, herbalists in the business for generations and so on. In one of those conversations, someone was talking about Shilajit. I had never heard about it before. He said that in the upper mountains, there were rocks that mountain hares had shat on in long old times, which would dry up and then emanate a smell. This smell would call the hare or rabbit (I forget which), back and it would poop over the older dried poop. This poop would be full of hormones. In the mating season, the males would go rub themselves on it and their body oils often were layered on the dried poop as well.

This substance is called Shilajit and is one of the highest concentrations of natural substances that activate the male hormonal system, as it was predominantly made by the male hare or rabbit.

Till about the mid 2000s, I found out, this was general knowledge in those parts.

Then came a marketing boom and Shilajit was marketed as “resin from the rock” and what not. They introduced fake Shilajit and now no one really has respect for it anymore

I used to visit these very ancient stone temples, Ed, and go into corners that no one had stepped into in decades if not centuries. Very often, cats, pigeons and bats would be living there, and this is exactly how decades or centuries of fossilized poop looked.

What I’m saying, Ed, is that this incredibly powerful substance (I have tried it many times, and couldn’t continue because the male hormones overheated my body.), it is the natural potty of a wild animal, an animal that collected it on a rock and went and rubbed himself in it when the mating season began.

It’s started my respecting of the potty of animals as medicine. So many times, when I was living alone, I was weak and had no one to do shopping, cooking and all that. Shilajit gave me the body heat to get up and do what I needed to do.

So basically, according to thug world, animals poop is good, but we got to feel filthy and ashamed because we make it too.
